Sorry for the lack of anything this weekend, I've been kind of busy/trying to relax: at the same time; some things don't go the best together.

The weather is picking up, which is a massive plus, I love the sun and cannae wait for summer. All I can think of is sun, colours, Calippo's, sand, sea and holidays.
I'm also due to finish the majority of college-y stuff in May, so for then, I'm making plans.
The long awaited re-decorate, le holiday, the textiles fashion show, the stage show, a beach trip, and maybe a trip to London avec Laura(?)
For now, I shall keep on dreaming:)

This is actually my outfit from yesterday, I managed to fit in a couple of quite cheesey snaps in between working and buying apples in order to make crumble. As you do.
Giving up chocolate etc for lent is actually working well!

Catch up with everything soon:)

-'Jason Lee Perry Photographs Taylor Warren for the latest shoot for No. Magazine. Making a trip from the city street to inside a record store, the images showcase laid-back fashion for the rock and roll set styled by JAK.'

I love this shoot; the cross of grunge and glamour at a high, complete with a record shop location, as well as the city streets.

And I am so in love with the cross dress; DIY idea maybe?

Say Goodbye To Turning Tables.

-Via-Weheartit.

Just a quick post today; about to dash off again.
I seem to be inundated and never stopping with work lately, yet seem to be getting nowhere, and not what I had planned; a feeling not too appreciated really; and I quite fancy a lie-in.
Today I woke thinking, 'Oh, thank goodness, at least it's Friday,' then Thursday hit me square in the face.
At least tomorrow, I can think the same thing, and it actually be(!)

Nothing much to report really, so I thought I'd just leave some pretty pictures;
Best be offs,

Inspire.

Valentino Fall 2011.

-Via FashionGoneRogue.
Valentino's fall 2011 lacy day wear hit the runway for Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday, and designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli had true ready-to-wear creations on their hands with feminine dresses and luxe knits. Accented by python prints, furs and floral designs, the romantic garments gave way to unadulterated elegance for the new season.

Taking into consideration my current love for a darker colour palette, I also have a soft spot for the the softest, pale colours; contrasting as they do. So when I saw Valentino's Fall 2011 collection for the first time, I feel it quintessentially feeds both appetites.
I am genuinely happy that the romantic inspired feel is here to stay, complete with lace, light flower/rose prints onto the sheerest of chiffon, ruffles and rosettes; whilst managing to stray far away from the sickly, over the top fine line one can sometimes cross. Vintage style dresses and buttons, a personal favourite,  also make an appearance, adding awareness to the fine detail and attention paid, for both the designers and audience.
Mixing things up by adding darker elements in navy blues and blacks with some tougher associated fabrics pulls the collection together, matching perfectly with the snakeskin boots seen paired with varying items.

I would absolutely love to own an item from this collection, but added to a wishlist high above reality it shall reside..

We Fly Balloons On This Fuel Called Love.

Promptly reminded of how much I have missed listening to Foals, by a friend sending a link to another on my new feed, they have remained prominently on my ipod throughout today. I have seen them three(?) times now, and each just as amazing as the other, definitely take a listen if you haven't, and they go very well whilst eating Calippo ice lollies, in preperation for summer of course.

On another note, last Friday, me and Philippa took our weekly trip the sandwich shop, I swear the women fully knows us now, predictable as we are. Tuna mayo for me, then a box of pineapple and magazine from Sainsburys across the road, tuna mayo and Flapjack for her. I'm pretty sure each week we enter she has a sly smile, which is pretty funny.
Anyway, debating between two magazines, knowing perfectly well I would only purchase the other at a later date, Glamour won me over. The free lipstick. Clinique. I know, things like this shouldn't, and we even went halfway through the Glamour magazine pile, searching for the one with the lipstick; lipgloss doesn't have the same effect on me.
On this occasion, the promotional aspect has me wrapped around it's little finger. The lipstick, is fast becoming a favourite, in 'Rosette.' I love it, simple enough for everyday use, yet enough to create a flash of colour on my palette.
I sound pretty sad, but hey(!) I like what I like.

Apparently I cannot stop wearing this skirt at the moment, teamed with this black sheer shirt, it seemed quite dull, a scheme seemingly attractive recently; but adding my trusty 'scarfless,' a scarf with a clasp at the back, brightens the whole thing up. I love the watercolour print effect it has, and am so happy I snapped it up when I did.

Finally, I have recently discovered 'Shopalike,' a clothing site, which pretty much has something for everyone. A range of clothes, prices and styles; I've already found a few items for my wishlist; do take a look.

Limb By Limb, Tooth By Tooth.

-Via Google - Style Stalker, Street Style & Weheartit.

Free periods on Friday, enabled me to turn to blogging. I wrote (am writing) this post sat in the library, waiting for my friend to finish lesson so we can go coffee/catch up. Iknow, sounds like such an easy Friday; yet not so much, just so ready for a break from work. I managed to collate quite a few images I love and find inspiring, despite the lack of access to certain sites, blocked from the college computers; mainly via Google and various searches. The first few are from ‘Style Stalker.' I love their lookbook images, and the unusual feel, all the while promoting. It definitely works on me.
Finally after saving all the images, I realised the lovely collegecomputerpeople have also blocked my ability to post or login or something, hence my posting today.
I've been pretty darn busy of late, so this reflects in my lack of posting, for this I do apologise.
I feel sufficiently worked-out this week, although still have a million things on my to-do list, not unlike others most probably.

Thursday night, I went to TRANSMISSION. It sounds rather ominous(?) being capitals and all, but it was a launch night for my friends promotion company/thing. I ended up helping around, and in charge of the smoke machine! I felt quite ‘in power’ really. It ended me and a couple of friends sat far away from the machine with the remote, messing around and watching people dancing through the smoke, somehow quite amusing.
