In The Midst.

The old becoming new. Louis Vuitton AW10.
Midi length dress-Topshop, Cropped Jumper-Thrifted, Tights-Primark, Shoes-Next, Dreamcatcher-H&M.

After the excitement of the midi skirt returning to the catwalk in 2010, a key collection being that of Louis Vuitton, longer length skirts have elbowed their way through the minis and maxis, to once again and continue to, claim space on our wish lists.
Although I was not a fan of this particular hemline at the time, it has quite literally, grown on me and now, I find myself purchasing more and more of this style.
Described as elegant and feminine, yet sexy and sophisticated, this easy to wear shape quickly became a must for our favourite style icons, from on the red carpet, to informal events.
The midi is set to stand its ground this summer, with more options cropping up all over the highstreet, some even with new twists. The one on my wish list, a lightweight, chiffony number with a dipped hem at the back. Now just to find the right one.
Tried & tested - roll over the waistline of a maxi skirt until reached required hemline, and add a belt!

Slip back out of whack.

via weheartit & google.

It's fair to say it's been a while.
But, sabbatical over. I've realised how much I love this other world of inspiration, fashion and opinions that is of blogs.
So, a fresh start?
Through my compulsive list making, im planning a new look, writing; I never thought this would happen, but I miss studying English! Photography and art work, along with inspirations, and fashion. A sort of fashion/lifestyle blog.
A little of the same as before, a little new maybe.

For now, back to research with multiple cups of coffee to help.
