Olde Lang Syne.

-Dress&hand chain-ASOS, Spotty Tights-Dotty P's(ironic yes?), Shoes-Topshop, Clutch-Vintage.

A very quick post, as I am meant to be meeting others in fifteen minutes, and I have yet to pick an outfit. Good luck Nicola.

These photos were a few taken from the best-ling Laura's party the other day. It was really great, and the band St Somebody played really well too. I remember me and Laura singing along to Toothpaste Kisses, how I love The Maccabees.

And this is the last of 2010!, as I'm sure you all are well aware of,
I haven't been great with posts this week, I have finally started on my holiday work, and have been out pretty much every night this week, so a couple of outfits to post. Also the promised 'new buys.'
Oh, and another thing I'm looking forward to. Me and Laura are scheduling a photoshoot pretty soon, I'm thinking:
Lots of lace, mix of fabrics and materials, detailing, maxi lengths, oversized shirts, sheer blouses and leather.

So, any big plans for the new year?
I'm hop, skipping and jumping to a friends now, so more/better to come!

Ps-I have also been awarded a stylish blogger award! I shall definitely post this properly soon,
but for now,

Happy New Year!

You're Just Like Me, Everything You Do Is Completely Weird.

Day-Cardi thing-Topshop, Shirt-Vintage, Skirt-H&M, Pearls-Thrifted.
Night-Jacket/Pearls-Thrift, Blouse-H&M, Jeans/Necklace-Primark, Wedges-Topshop, Clutch-Vintage.

Yesterday saw the day of Laura's 18th birthday, and to celebrate we battled through Leeds to spend the last of our monies, Then going out for some cocktails with others at night.
It was a good day, and I managed to pick up some great buys, which I shall show probably tomorrow, making me rather happy.
Although a sneek peek, the blouse and wedges in the second outfit being a couple.
The fake eyebrows were a joke present, as she has had a slight misfortune on the subject, (she may have posted on her blog,) so we all donned fake eyebrows on the train, making complete fools of ourselves. Obviously.

The photos of the night shots are really awful, it was dark, the light poor and I didn't use my new camera. Therefore photographing my new buys shall be a great new excuse!

The first outfit I'm wearing a shirt my friend bought me for Christmas. It has a great pattern, is oversized and I love it!

Hope everyone's enjoying some time off!

Home Once Again.

-Via WeHeartIt.

Hope you all had a lovely weekend!
I'm home again, and I most certainly did. It was nice to see everyone again, and probably consumed too much food, but hey. Tis the season:)

Just a little post really, I received some lovely things, and a camera(!)
I am too excited about this, and currently exploring it as we speak.
I also acquired a fur hat today, which my Grannie gave me, it used to be my moms Nana's apparently? I rather like it, and I'm not really a hat person.

Tomorrow is Laura's birthday, so we're armed and ready to hit the shops/sales, and maybe out at night, followed by a partay on Wednesday. It's her 18th after all,
It should be fun, most definitely.
Also I plan to buy my last gingerbread latte of the year, always a highlight of the day.

Driving Home For Christmas.

Snowflakes from the car.

Currently posting from my laptop and an internet stick(?) after a long drive to Essex avec family, for Christmas.
In which the second outfit photo was taken from today. Excuse the rather lack of smiles, it was 8o'clock and my lack of caffeine intake is rather visible.
Anyway, I thought it worked out to be quite a decent 'layered look' and also warm, seeing as the car was once again covered in snow.

The other outfit was taken last night, after mine et friends a bit controversial Thai Christmas meal. It was lovely though, and resulted in eating what is probably slightly too much good food, a bit too much wine and a good ol' catch up:)

This will most likely be my last post before Christmas, unless I pay again for the internet thing, but I will be making the long journey home in a few days, after, of course, a weekend with the whole family, and another over indulgent few days.
Have a lovely Christmas!

Icy Delights.

My favourite part of my parents buying the paper on a Sunday:
You Magazine.
I love waking up and reading this over a cup of coffee in my usual non-aware haze of a morning.

Yesterday contained one of my favourite editorials in a while. The snowy setting, beautiful clothes, natural colours, different textures, Just lovely.
The contrast between the clean, smooth background and the delicate impression of the clothes is amazing.

Also some photos from a couple of pages, 'Work It to the Max,' shows many of my favourite things, maxi skirts, lovely blouses, simple yet gorgeous cuts and colours. Simple, yet elegant.
Secondly, lip colours. Predominantly the berry-ish colour. My favourite.
(And it would look great next to the pale colours from the editorial!)

Freedom Is Mine.

1-Can't remember(?)
2-Topshop
3-ASOS
4 & 5-Zara

Freedom! At least for the Christmas holidays, so happy, although I do have soe bits to do but ahh well:)

Some lovely photos from various places, I particularly love the first, dark green and in a maxi form. Two of my favourite things at the moment I think.

And another good note, I've finished all my shopping! Providing the postman delivers my last few bits, it's all sorted. Plus my 'Christmas dress' which I'm going to wear to my friends party on Sunday also. But hey, one must get wear out of one's purchases.

Happy Holidays/Freedom!

Vintage Tweed.

-Jacket-Vintage, Cardie-Vintage, Dress & Scarf-Thrift, Boots-Topshop, Jewellery-Various.

This is the jacket I managed to buy, I was saying about the other day.
I love it, and these photos do not show how much soo. Teaches me for wanting to take photos in the dark :)

The cardie was also a vintage find, a big shop in Leeds named 'second hand.' That's a pretty amazing place too.

Anyway, just a quick post to show you all, the week is slightly dragging, and I cannot wait to break up on Friday!

Clothes Show & A Poncho.

1-5 - Clothes Show Site
-Outfit- Poncho-Clothes Show, Blouse-H&M, Skirt-Topshop, Jewellery-Vintage/Thrift/Gift, Shoes-New Look.

Back, and break up on Friday! Cannot wait.

So, the deadlines have been done, and I'm back, after a rather lack of anything else week, but this week is looking good.

Finally uploaded my photos from Clothes Show Live the other day and it's fair to say they ain't that great..Hopes on a camera for Christmas:)
So I found some on the site, which show the outfits pretty well.
The designs were amazing, the stalls too tempting and the show was great.
It was a great day, and I would definitely recommend it, I'd go again!
I managed to snap up a few buys on the trip, a dress, scarf and this lovely poncho, after eyeing one for a wee while.

Also just received an amazing tweed jacket from ebay. A minimal 99p.
I am in Love.
