City Lights.

-via fashiongonerogue
Waldemar Hansson brings his unique and colorful style to the latest pages of Zink. Featuring Mariana Idzkowska and outfitted by Kawa H Pour, classic styling paired with contemporary looks makes for an enigmatic story.

I love these photos, the 'unique colourful style' is pretty amazing, along with the varying locations and architectural backgrounds. Plus some darn lovely styling, giving an almost feminine yet contrastingly sharp feel.

Dance The Night Away.

-Blouse-Topshop, Jeans-Primark, Shoes-JonesTheBootMakers, Clutch/Necklace-Vintage, Jewellery-Thrift/GiftEtc.
Other photos-via Weheartit.

Apologies etc,
The past few days have been mainly taken up by work, college and all that, soo.
Anyways, I went to see the dance show of the performance school I go to last night. It was really good, and everyone did really well! Reminded me of when I was in them, I still miss it if I'm honest. I had to give up dance due to a pair of sorta rubbishy knees, but that's another story...

Anyway, I bought this blouse a good few weeks ago, but haven't had the chance to wear it yet, so took the opportunity gladly:)
I fell in love with it when I saw it in the shop, but when I came around to buy, they only had it in maternity left. After some detective work, I figured that the only difference was that the buttons down the back were in a different place, for a baby tummy. So, it was time for some sewing skills to come about, and I bought it changed the buttons round and there ya goo.
The pattern is rather lovely I think.

Wedding Spells.

- Dress-A|Wear, Shoes-JonesTheBootMaker, Belt-Zara, Scarf-Thrift, Clutch-Vintage, Jewellery-Many various.

So these are a few pictures from the wedding I went to last Friday.
It was my cousin Holly's, who apparently we look really similar(?)

Anyway, it was a really lovely day, despite the fog that seemed to descend, and she seemed to love it:)
She looked gorgeous too, and her dress was beautiful..

I bought my dress this summer after seeing it in a magazine, although with no purpose in mind when I bought it. It came through the post and I was in love, its like a silk/chiffon material with some corsages around the neckline. I felt a wee bit stuck as it's a bit too dressy to wear on a normal night, and I couldn't think of any posh-ish events coming, then it hit me!
Soo, I had to save it to wear, but I love it.
Styled with dark tights, to winter-y it up, my favourite deep blue shoes, plenty of rings and pearls, and this beautiful gold and mother of pearl mini cuff(?) (I should have pictured it really) which belonged to my Auntie Kay.

It was a great day (I may have said this, but hey,) and I hope she's very happy:)
Oh, and that's her little boy, Zack, I'm holding in one of the pictures, he's such a cutie, and my brother in another.

Busy Bee.

So this weekend has been the busiest in a wee while, but great:)
Friday my cousin got married, which I will post some photos, hopefully tomorrow!

Then I hopped off to work on Saturday, then my friend Kelsey's 18th (right, bottom picture) Which was good, and then hopped again to a vintage fair in the delightful Halifax, and onto a wee shop in Leeds.
The vintage fair had a good turn out, although maybe not quite as good as I hoped..I came away with a ring (yet another) and a cardigan and jumper from Leeds:)

Just a quick update really,
hopes your weekends have been good:)

Blue Blood.

-via FashionGoneRogue.
Velvet fashion director Rachele Bagnato and photographer Azim Haidaryan partner for a story fueled by pop art. Featuring Jessica Lewis alongside Aris SchwabeMarc Massa and Patrick Phillips, nonchalance and intrigue set in for an interesting tale.

There's something about these photos that I love.
Although I think the key word here is 'intrigue.'
One just can't help but.

Autumn Knitwear In The Setting Sun.

-Jumper & Cardigan-Primark, Scarf-H&M, Shoes & Brooch-Vintage.

Managed to get a few photos outside as the sun was going down, although it is still very cold out!
Not too much going on at the moment, although I made a pointless trip to college today, my teacher of the only lesson I had of the day decided not to show. Soo, ahh well..

I love these shoes, my current or ever-loving love of red continues.

Could Be, Who Knows.

Outfit- Jacket & Blouse-Thrift, Skirt-Miss Selfridge, Shoes-New Look, Belt-Zara, Bag-Primark, Scarf(on bag)-Vintage, Jewellery-Thrift/Gift/Vintage.
Other photos via weheartit.

This is a post from Saturday really, been a bit of a busy weekend really, although next week is looking busier(!)

The outfit is taken from Saturday night, when I took a trip to the theatre to see West Side Story. I knew some people in it, and it was good soo.
Anyway, I bought this skirt a bit ago, and quite like the take on the midi-length trend, yet being quite fitted gives it a modern edge.

Yesterday me, Laura, Josh and Andy went to the Constellations Festival in Leeds, which was really good. Saw some good bands, and heard some good music, definitely a good day/night, although tiring:)

I have a bit of a thing for rings (and red) at the moment, the more the better really! Although looking at the photos above, it seems to be just jewellery in general, but hey, I love it.

Contrast and Compare.

-Via fashiongonerogue.
Caroline Trentini takes to the streets of Brooklyn, New York for the November issue of Elle Brazil. Photographed by Fabio Bartelt, Caroline wears spring 2011 collections from Brazilian fashion week including the work of Reinaldo Lourenço, Tufi Duek, Gloria Coelho and more styled by Susana Barbosa.

Now I personally love these photos.
The intensity yet love that is the setting of New York, against the beautiful, detailed clothes creations compare perfectly.
And that red colour block dress is simply, Ahh.

I'd love to go to New York. One day.

Oh, and a good note of the day, I passed my theory driving test! One step closer :)

Fruit Tea And Fancy Free.

-Skirt-H&M, Jumper-Next, Boots-Topshop, Jewelery-Thrift/Gift/Vintage etc.

Just a couple of photos from yesterday really.
The jumper I'm wearing from Next, I ordered from the catalogue, and it didn't let me down, another knit to add to the wardrobe.
The other two are just some of my collective artwork at the moment, the drawing is meant to be 'expressive' in the style of a couple of artists, although not quite finished, and the photography is mine..

Lazing around, doing some art and drinking fruit tea. It all seems rather pretentious really doesn't it? :)

Ps-Note the plaster thing on my finger, my sewing machine decided to attack.

Just A Bit Of Time.

-via weheartit.

One deadline down, Two to go. My desk now kinda looks like the ones in the photos, only messier, but yano. Apparently I've taken over the dining table at the moment, as a kind of 'work table,' I'm not sure how long this can last though...

Anyway, I love the last image particularly, it seems to suggest a feeling of independence, individuality and some darn good styling.

Better/more posts to come, I promise.
:)
